Whenever i close my eyes, look to the left, then open them, i see a green circle for around 1-3 seconds. is that something i should be worried about? i also keep seeing lighting flashes of lights when i look at them, what does that mean?

It's not normal to me. You should see an eye physician (ophthalmologist, MD) if possible, probably better than an optometrist (OD) with these symptoms.
