I have chf. elvf is 30%. have cardiomyopathy & high bp. left side of is mildly enlarged. on 5 meds. extreme dizziness, vision blacks out, poor concentration, loss of breath frequently. want the truth..is my chf bad? can i die soon? what can happen?

Your symptoms are suggesting poor brain perfusion at times. Other conditions cannot be ruled out. Arrhythmia or irregular heart beats may add to the picture and would be of concern aside from side effects from current drugs among most common causes seen in practice. Your cardiologist remains your best reference going forward.

Your cardiac function appears significantly impaired.Assume hypertension is the likely cause. Multiple medications are commonly needed and ma sometimes complicate the issue by causing side effects. Dizziness and near blackouts could be from diuretics and could sometimes be helped by cautiously liberalizing fluids. Your cardiologist may be able to adjust your medications and this could help.
