A member asked:

Few months ago i was diagnosed with choledocolithiasis and had mild acute cholangitis during that period. i responded quickly to the antibiotics and 2 weeks later got my treatment with ercp. will cholangitis have any problem to my liver in future?

If one episode and one episode only, should not. However, at 28 your a bit young for choledocolithiasis. Issue is - why did you get it in first place. If you (and family) are prone to gallstones, your gastroenterologist may want to prescribe meds to prevent them from forming in the future. Check with them
