Crash diets typically result in the loss of water weight. To actually lose body fat and inches, you need to focus on long term calorie reduction and increased exercise (calorie expenditure) You could increase your exercise level this week especially light cardio, and focus on less fatty foods, fewer carbs or sugar rich foods and safely lose 2-3 pounds.

Please beware of crash diets. W/one week to go you are better off focusing on some moderate exercise if ok w/your doc and good nutrition. The goal is for good health, which can help w/mood. The number on the scale may not change but you will be healthier for it. Be neat and clean, treat others the way you would like to be treated. This will be more attractive than shedding a few lbs. Peace.
