What could cause ongoing intermittent dull ache in tonsil? normal throat culture & cbc. no fever. dr says it looks normal. -i have post nasal drip, bruxism, and previously had swollen submandibular node. could any of those be a possible cause?

Post nasal drip could indicate that you have something going on in your sinuses. Your tonsil is like a lymph node; it is the staging point for immune cells and antibodies to attack any local infection. If your sinuses are inflamed and infected (Sinusitis) you will feel your tonsil become enlarged and may experience pain or ache in this area. Try saline nasal washes and talk to Dr about Antibiotics
