Possible: But not likely. Corrosion of the material will lead to decay--re infection of the tooth. That renewed infection can lead to the formation of abscess, plaque accumulation, gum boils and pus. Bacteria are the primary cause of malodor, but can also be caused by nasal infection and gut disturbances. See your dentist. Fillings don't and aren't supposed to last forever!

Could be: Fillings don't last forever.. Have your dentist examine them for recurrent decay and fractures.

Depends : On what the "bad taste" really is. If it is a "tingling" feeling - could be a galvanic reaction between the "silver" mercury filling & other metal fillings / crowns if they are made of a different metal. This is a battery effect & could be your problem. I believe that these fillings are bad since they leak mercury vapor & the epa considers these removed fillings hazardous waste. See a dentist.
