A member asked:

Would tachycardia, myocarditis & pericarditis show on ekg or ct scan? i did both & ct was perfect, as for my ekg, they said my heart was beating a little fast (127 bmp, some from anxiety, but not all) but the rhythm was perfect. should i be worried?

Tachycardia (fast heart rate ) will show up on EKG ONLY. CT MIGHT show fluid around heart but you say OK. I need to know why you think you have pericarditis? Ask Dr to listen very closely for a pericardial friction rub which is diagnostic of pericarditis. But most be in very quiet room and skilled at listening and listen to bear chest and in left lateral position.
