So much more info would be needed o give you a meaningful answer. Is the "bump" hard or soft? Do the teeth have any restorations or cavities? Was the tooth ever traumatized? Did you have orthodontic treatment? It the bump by your lip or under your tongue? In any event, have your local dentist take a look.

It needs real evaluation by Your Dentist who can take xray of the adjacent tooth and examine the lesion for proper treatment.
