Could be: Depends on the area..If it is the back molar area ...Could be your wisdom tooth errupting...Should get it evaluated by dentist as soon as possible.

Tooth ?: Very possibly... You did not say where this bump was. If it is behind your last molars, it could be your wisdom teeth. If it is somewhere else, it could an exostosis.
