Odd sense of flushing, heat in neck and left side of head, left ear too. recurring issue that feels like an internal heat..like (i assume) a hot flash for men. no fever. had this last year around same time of year too...any clue? thyroid possibly?

This could be due to any number of endocrine issues, thyroid being only one. It would be helpful to know if your heart rate and BP increase during the episode-makes catecholamine release possible. You should see your doctor ASAP and report this issue. You need some blood work and possible an endocrine evaluation to figure this out. Best of luck to you!!
