Wry neck: You may have slept in a wrong position and ceveloped a wry neck. Try using warm compresses or a heating pad set on low so you don't get burned. You can also try cool compresses if you find them more comfortable you should feel better in a week otherwise you may want to vonsider physical therapy.

Local myalgia: Local myalgia includes muscle co-contraction and muscle soreness. Moist heat, and stretch exercises will solve your pain. If pain is persist over 2 weeks, see pcp for further investigation.
