A member asked:

What does s cerevisiae antibody, igg and rheumatology igg test for or possibly show? both were positive for me?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, there is valid rheumatology IgG test. Antibody to S. Cerevisiae is one of the tests for ulcerative colitis. Wish you good health!
