A member asked:

Tested for scerevisiae antibody, igg and that was positive.scerevisiae iga was negative. blood test under rheumatology igg is also slightly high of reference range.what could this mean and could it connect to celiac which i possibly have?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, the information you provided, does not add up. The tests are not for detecting Celiac disease. Wish you good health!
