A member asked:

Very tender armpit. i feel a tiny lump. received first dose of pfizer vaccination 3 days ago although the tender armpit/lump is on the opposite arm of where i got the vaccine. very worried. should i get an ultrasound?

The vaccine and axillary lump are NOT related. Hair can become ingrown there, or shaving could be associated with bumps. An inspection is needed first. You can do this with a mirror, or ask you local health care provider to,assist. Good luck

Although you should have the swollen lymph node on the same side of the vaccination site, I would not rule out you might have the swollen node from Pfizer vaccine. Swollen lymph node is one of the adverse effects of mRNA vaccine and it should subside in 5-7 days.
