A member asked:

What can cause red/dark red vascular painless lesions on one toe? ive had a few for a year and then another one appeared so its progressing. its not raynauds. i was told only that its vascular/blood flow. appreciate any thoughts?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Painless lesions which have increased in size(plus additional new ones showing up) would be concerning to me. So you should show it to your doctor or go to see a podiatrist. He may recommend a biopsy or take a photograph for future comparison for further growth. Vascular lesions can be a benign Hemangioma or on rare occasions an Angiosarcoma. So I would not delay the necessary check up.
