For treatment of gastritis (inflammation of the stomach lining), I feel that the best and most effective treatment is stomach acid suppression with medication like famotidine or ppi's like omeprazole or esomeprazole. If you take these meds be sure to take vitamin B12 but it won't be absorbed unless you use the sublingual(under the tongue) form as you won't absorb Vit B12 from oral pills or foods
