My brother just turned 16 years old 5 days ago. he said that he keeps on waking up at 6:30 no matter what time he sleeps at and that he use to be able to sleep and wake up at 8 or 7:30. is he growing? what is happening? hes 52 mom is 51 dad 54?

He may be experiencing a growth spurt or perhaps there is something waking him up at that time-a certain noise in the room, or the light coming in or a temperature change. It is really a good thing to wake up at the same time every day as long as you also fall asleep at a time that gives you 7-8 hours of sleep a night. So, he should aim to be asleep no later than 11:30-12:30 at night. Good luck!
