I dont have hiv or diabetes and was not taking antibiotics but i developed oral thrush. my mouth has been dry though- can that cause oral thrush if i breathe through my mouth sometimes at night? can dry mouth be perimenpausal symptom?

"Oral thrush" is a term used to describe a fungal (yeast) infection in the oral cavity (mouth/throat). If the conditions are present for growth of what are ubiquitously available fungal organisms, an infection can occur, which has little or nothing to do with oral breathing or "dry mouth".
