Get x-ray: It is difficult to say without examining you. If bump is painful you should definitely see your doctor....This could be your family doctor, an orthopedist or a podiatrist. You should have an x-ray to begin with to see if an of the bones or joints have been injured. Further testing like an MRI may also be necessary depending upon severity of injury.

Suggest: You get an x-ray to rule out fracture and possible MRI to see how much soft tissue damage was done to ligaments. The hard bump you mention is a concern as well. Get it checked asap.
