After the loss of a testicle, the remaining testicle increases production of sperm and semen. Due to this it does not shrink, but typically gets larger. Although men with one testicle have a slightly decreased fertility rate, it is not typically a problem as long as the remaining testicle remains healthy. Testosterone production in the remaining testicle will also increase.
