I have extreme sharp stabbing pain in my kidney area. ct scans of abdomen and pelvic region come back normal, blood work for liver and kidneys comes back normal. it's not going away. everything i eat hurts, but it's not g.i. pain?

It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water. Wish you good health!

Medicine is based on the basics, history (what the patient says) and an examination, More details are needed, so I suggest a physical examination. When describing pain avoid saying that the pain is in the kidney (how do we know) say I have flank pain, for example, instead.
