In june cat scan of abdomen and pelvis showed spins bifides occulta at s1 level. since today in bending felt sharping pain in lower back. is this due to spins bifide? what is causing this terrible pain?

Can't say: Many people live out their lives & never know they have SBO because they never had symptoms that led to an imaging study that found it.I would not assume that it has anything to do with your back pain. It is more likely an unrelated back strain that could happen to any person, but this can be sorted out by your doc.
