Presumably she's young, right? Pre-pubertal? She needs more than just a "lab appointment": she should see her pediatrician in person. Call the doctor's office first thing in the morning, or maybe even today (probably someone is on call). Don't have any lab tests on your own. With vaginal/vulvar redness, a yeast infection may be likely. Recent BM probably has nothing to do with this. Good luck.
