Not sure : This doesn't make a lot of sense and requires further evaluation possibly with radiologic imaging. If an implant was used, it could be infected.

Rosacea: You could have mild rosacea that causes the skin to get red and warm. This would not necessarily be associated with the surgery you had. If they worked on the tip of your nose at the same time as the septoplasty they may have thinned the skin of the nose which could make it appear more sensitive to temperature or flushing.
