FTR in a patient with Hydrosalpinx is a specialized and selectively done procedure because of the side effects. Adhesions, reclosure, ectopic pregnancies and damage to the uterus/ fallopian tubes or other structures are a serious concern. The patient may also have an allergic reaction to the dye. Talk to your Gynecologist for a discussion of your options.
