Maybe. Reflux is a common event that is aggravated by some drinks/foods/caffeine/nicotine/laying down after meals/ anxiety among other things. Reducing any or all of these factors can end symptomatic reflux, depending on the degree. Since stress increases acid production in the stomach reducing it is a good idea, but it may not reverse the process.
