About 1%: The typical quoted risk of cvs is about 1%. However, there is some variation based on the ability of the physician doing the test. Another option to consider is serum dna screening. This is new technology and will screen for trisomy 21, 13 and 18. Discuss with your doctor to decide which might be best for you.
