A member asked:

My palatopharyngeal arch touches uvula on one side and i feel like food is stuck in mouth and nose. it doesn't always feel like the 'food' is in the same place. could this cause this feeling and should be concerned. this has been for about 5 weeks?

This is an abnormal anatomical change that is most likely related to swelling displacing the tissue so that th uvula is touching the side of the throat in an unusual way. Go and have it checked. Swellings are for a reason and you don't want to ignore what could be serious. See and ENT specialist.
