Have you consulted a urologist? Your symptoms may be caused by urethritis. Some clinicians feel that so called noninfectious urethritis is an actual infection that isn't detected by our urine cultures and, thus, prescribe a course of antibiotics which may improve symptoms. Sometimes an antiviral medication is tried in stubborn or persistent cases. Discuss this with your physician or a urologist.
