Put the rubber bands back on, as best you can. Then call your dentist/orthodontist for help. It is unlikely that you will develop any dangerous problems between now and your appointment, but s/he may be able to help you by phone or telehealth.

Do not wear elastics unless you are absolutely sure where they go. Call the General Dentist specialist Orthodontist that is treating you. They will have a record of where your rubber bands attach, and can quickly and easily instruct you as to the appropriate configuration. Not having access to your records, we ca't instruct you,
