A member asked:

I just got my orthodontic spacers attached two days ago. today, one fell off and i tried putting it back in with the floss technique. however, unlike the others it wasn't visible. is it possible it shoved deeper into my gums and submerged?

Unlikely! If you have shoved something into the gum you are highly to start having discomfort. Brush Floss and give your dentist a call so that he can check the area carefully. The point of spacers is to seerate the teeth. That obviously happened faster than expected. Best wishes.

It's possible. More probable that you swallowed it (Not to worry, it will work out all right in the end). To find out, return to the General Dentist, ,or specialist Orthodontist that placed the spacers Foran examination. If the spacer slipped down below the gums it can do major damage quickly, so see your practitioner.
