Is it weird that my obgyn gave me a goal date of 28 weeks? im pregnant with didi twins. she said i wont be allowed to go past 37 weeks but i should at the very least aim to make it to 28 weeks & anything beyond is a major plus. im terrified now.?

My goal would be 38 wks & yes I've had twins that went that long. A realistic goal of 34-36 is where many end up. We have had progress in neonatal care to the point 28 is much more survivable, but I'm with you, I'd rather my babies didn't require long term NICU care. I wonder if the OB just has a quirky communication style.
