I've just found out that i'm pregnant (just shy of 4 weeks from date of last period). i don't want to travel too much during the lockdown but would like to know when is the latest safe date to make my first obgyn appointment? around 8-12 weeks?

Begin Ob care asap: The sooner you start receiving Ob services the better. Preconceptional evaluations would have been even better. There is no longer any good reason to delay the first Ob visit to an arbitrary gestational age based on a last period. During the lockdown, you could begin with a preliminary "virtual Ob consultation" till you can schedule your prenatal tests, sonogram and other in-person visits.
