A member asked:

I did an hsg findings are 1- *mild hydrosalpinx on my right fallopian tube* 2_*asherman's syndrome* 3_*endometritis* which one is the best treatment for those.what is hydrosalpinx does it affect both tubes?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

An HSG showing hydrosalpinx present in one tube can mean compromise for fertility in both tubes are present. Asherman's syndrome and endometritis suggest past or present infection in the uterus. Although surgery can result in open tubes, chance of pregnancy outside the uterus (ectopic) is significant. IVF may be indicated for possible pregnancy.
