A member asked:

I have done my hsg.. result is 1. filling deffect seen at the base of uterus 2. both fallopian tubes are opacified with dilatation seen suggestive of hydrosalphinx 3. no spillage of contrast seen bilaterally?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

HSG results: With this report, it will be impossible for pregnancy unless the tubes are surgically opened. Without "spill", the tubes are blocked and the egg will not have access to fertilization with sperm. Get a referral to an infertility specialist physician for advice and other options.
