Just say, "Please don't retract his foreskin, OK?" In the current modern era, no doctor retracts a baby's foreskin unless there's a special reason such as needing to place a catheter. Babies are born complete, finished, and perfectly fine (except for the few unlucky ones with birth defects), so we don't need to cut any parts off. Circumcisions are done for religious and cultural reasons sometimes.

This was common practice up until about 1975 in an effort to identify defects in the placement of the pee hole. The practice was abandoned in most areas decades ago. Simply informing the doc of your wishes will be adequate. I doubt they would do it anyway. Lots of those horror stories come from honest parents who were exposed to poorly trained docs.
