Currently 35 weeks pregnant,suffering with terrible rash as well as hives for the past 2 weeks. extremely itchy, don't get any sleep due to it. gp suggested allergex non drowsy once a day for 5days,only helps for 1hour. extremely worried.please help?

I recommend consulting an allergist as the cause of recurrent hives can be quite elusive. The allergist should confer with your obstetrician and review diagnosis and discuss his/her treatment recommendations before prescribing any medications
