Pregnancy Rash: Stretch marks can become very sensitive at the end of pregnancy and any superficial palliative measures such as creams or compresses will not hurt your baby. The rash may be separate as PUPPS tends to present at this time. Given you are 35 weeks you should now be having weekly appointments with your Obstetrician. Show him/her the rash and ask their opinion and advice.
