A member asked:

I've read cdc is advising against taking acetaminophen or similar meds before receiving the covid vaccine shots because it may blunt the effects, but that it can be taken afterward. how soon after receiving the shots can acetaminophen, etc. be taken?

There is no scientific evidence that taking acetaminophen will blunt the effects in humans.

The main difficulties with a vaccine working well is the use of concurrent immune suppressants or modulators. Tylenol is an OTC item providing no interference with vaccine function.
