Weight stabilization: After a gastric sleeve, you can expect to lose a significant amount of weight in the first year. It's best if you wait until your weight has stabilized, before deciding about body contouring surgery, like liposuction or excess skin removal.

Stable Weight.: Best to undergo body contouring surgery of any kind once you have reached a long-term stable weight. Keep in mind, that patients who have had significant weight loss, often lose skin elasticity as well; you may not be a good candidate for liposuction surgery alone.
