Not recommended.: Since surgery involves anesthetic and other drugs, breast feeding should not be done with these medications in your breast milk. Liposuction is also best when you are closest to ideal weight, so you should have lost that "baby fat" before liposuction. Lipo is not an easy solution for that post pregnancy weight excess.

NO: There are a number of reasons why you shouldn't even consider liposuction or any other cosmetic procedure while breastfeeding. Any medications you take can end up in your breastmilk and could be harmful to your child. Also, you should give your body time to recover after childbirth and breastfeeding to lose weight, tone, and then consider any surgery if needed.
