Not sure what a MIR test is but I am going to assume you are talking about a MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) exam. This is done quite regularly when there is a concern for prostate cancer. An MRI shows any prostate cancer and the gland size. It is painless and requires no preparation. The will place you in a large tube for about 30 - 45 minutes to do the test. Good luck!
