7 month old moans in sleep at night, sometimes very loud and every hour. mostly only stops if bottle given, takes a sip and sleeps. is this normal? what can i do to stop the moaning? he is starting to crawl and stand up. not teething but gums white.

Your child has probably intuited that moaning results in a comforting bottle. Unfortunately that can lead to serious problem called BottleSyndrome. NEVER put a child to bed with a bottle containing anything except water. Never milk or juice, no matter how diluted. At eruption of 1st tooth take child to specialist Pediatric Dentist for examination an d instructions. And stop rewarding with bottle.
