A stent placed in your ureter by a urologist is usually to address a possible obstruction in the ureter. If you have noticed bleeding that is coming from your urinary tract it is important to have that evaluated by your urologist. It is unusual for a stead alone to be the cause of the bleeding and this would need a specialty assessment for the management plan.

Never heard of any one bleeding from the Virginia. Is this a local term? ;-)
