My psychologist is referring me for a mental health assessment (australian law) saying i'm medication non compliant and my depression needs assessment. is this something i can say no to? or is it involuntary? edit: there is no orders for treatment?

Consequences : This is something you can likely refuse. You need to understand all choices have consequences. Failure to follow the psychologists treatment plan may permit them to end your patient status & decline participation in any further care. (local rules apply)
