If water goes into your nose with your head tilted back does it go up to your sinuses or through the nasopharynx?

Water in the nose: Depending upon the amount and the time you take to put water, most of it will go to sinuses but some will trickle down the nasopharynx to the throat to swallow. If there is block or head is not tilted enough, most of it will go through nasopharynx to the food pipe esophagus.
