A member asked:

How long after first covid shot do you have some immunity?

Weeks: Such vaccines can trigger an expected protective level of antibodies in the majority of patients by 2-3 weeks after injection. We understand that some may not develop a protective response, but the first 2 vaccines protect over 90 % of the recipients after 2 doses. Getting the 2nd dose is important to reach the highest level of protection. Some continued sanitation & masking will still be prudent
