My doctor diagnosed me with a pilonidal cyst last week thursday. she prescribed some antibiotics for me to take and fucidin ointment. however there some swelling and excruciating pain. i am only supposed to see her next week, should i go to hospital?

Infected cyst: This is difficult to judge your report of excruciating pain but it sounds like it may need to drain. You need to see a surgeon which can be found at the emergency room.

Last year 2020 November, my doctor diagnosed me with a 5cm cyst, I took my antibiotic that he prescribed and went for a follow-up checkup and it was apparently gone. But now 2021 I have the exact same symptoms in some cases even worse?
