Spasm: Possibilities are pylorospasm (at outlet of stomach) or spasm of the esophagus. Hyperactivity of the vagus nerve may be what provokes these episodes. Treatment would be antispasmodic medication like probanthine or,dicyclomine. A gastroenterologist can evaluate and advise you best.
