Good evening i would like to know what to do wrt following i had a uti and was prescribed antibiotics, the uti did not clear and i went back to the doctor who gave me a script for stronger antibiotics i still have the symptoms?

Recurrent UTI: Did your urinalysis show UTI both times? Did your urine culture grow one organism > 100,000 colony count? What was the result of the second culture? If urinalysis is positive both times and culture grows same organisms, it may be resistant to first antibiotic. You should respond to new antibiotic. If organism is different, then you had new infection. Please keep good hygiene, pee after sex.
